Rock N Roll: The Gift That Keeps On Giving

I consider myself a Rock Mom. Why? Well, for a couple of basic reasons. I'm a mom...and I love rock. I have discovered hundreds of Rock Mom's just like me, and they are everwhere. I've bonded with a few locally, but have connected with so many others all over the world by offering cool, hip and of course rockin' choices at Giggle Bug Boutique.

I just recently read an article siting a published study in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Scientists have shown, at birth we already have sophisticated methods for interpreting the world. Infants as young as 2 days old can process pitch and tell if a series of notes are rising or falling in scale. And it is now known they have rhythm, too.

My boys have been subject to jam sessions every time we get into the car. My oldest at 15 who now plays a mean sax, now favors bands like "Iron Maiden," "ACDC" and "Francis Dunnery." He's probably the coolest 15 year old I have ever met. On command to "rock out" Tate will give you his famous Bret Michaels rock hand signal and stick his tongue out!

Being a rock mom has been one of my biggest inspirations behind Giggle Bug Boutique. I love babies wearing funky little shirt from Rebel Ink, Velvet Marmelade, or BabyGags. They're hip! They're funky! They make a statement!

She pairs the onesie with pants, skirts, legwarmers, beanies, etc. Her entire line is in black. Nothing says rock baby like one of these gift sets.

I can't do a rock blog without talking up my Rockin Mom's Diaper Bags! In my business, I see cute and hip bags all the time, but these have my name written all over them.
